Tell us a little bit about yourself, your education, your first job maybe, and how did you start photography?

Graduated UP college of music major in Percussion. First job after colleague was that i set up my own food business cart… had 4 stores, opened up a music school. When things were stable after 1 year. I resumed my interest in photography since it was an on / off love affair ever since grade school.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love meeting and talking to people thats why i entered the Fashion and wedding sector.

What or who inspires you? Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration through everyday things like plants textures, lighting of light and shadows.

Fashion Instagram pages, fashion photographers, and tons of MTV videos.

What is your favorite camera and lens? Could you tell us a bit about the equipment you use?

My current gear is the 5d IV and EOS R by Canon. I always use to 50mm 1.2 lens and 35mm 1.4 lens. Other lenses include the 24-70 2.8 lens. My dream lens now is the 85 1.2 for the EOS R line.

Name an interesting place you’ve ever photographed? Travel destination? Favorite road trip perhaps?

Tibet was truly magical since i went to that place knowing that one can get sick from the high altitude. I also experienced nomads coming down from the mountains to visit the temple in the capital of Lhasa. Food their , the noodles were yum!!!!!!

What music do you like to listen when you edit images? And can you name artists?

I have a wide range of music stemming from Dave Matthews Band, Phoenix, Joji, Honne, Journey to Adele. I’m currently listening to Harry Styles!

What is your dream photo shoot, dream photo assignment?

I want to do a road trip in China during the fall season. thats my dream shoot.

Mark Nicdao, Lilen Uy, Shaira Luna, all fashion photographers.

Do you ever get burned out? If yes, what helps you get back into the creative process?

I think its normal for many of us to get burned out from time to time especially weddings. What i did was i lessened taking too many weddings and spaced out my schedule so i don’t get over worked. We need to enjoy life after all!

Non-photography related, any other hobbies you love to do?

I love to spend more time on the water surfing!

What advice would you give to someone starting out?

Never think of the money. Just be the best!

Any photography project or discipline would you like to do after the enhanced community quarantine?

Goal now is just to survive and stay fit lol!

Still be active in your social media posts.
